Bloganuary 6-23: Why do you write?

I write for 3 reasons: 1 – remind myself about my past. Where did I come from? and did I become better than yesterday? 2 – have a chance to share my positive stories with others. 3- Hope that if we can create a positive community to help each other when needed. Since I came to the United States 10 years ago by myself, I have been to 13 different States, moved from rooms to apartments 10 times back and forth. I have learned and overcame so many obstacles. I feel so blessed that I am able to write it now. And I hope that my humble experience can help anyone who lives far away from home stay strong and never give up.

I never consider myself a good writer, instead, very bad. So I hope the more I write, the better I will become. I hope practice makes improvement. When I was growing up in Vietnam, I loved writing daily journal. When I went to college, I wrote less and read more. Sometimes I re-read my journal, and feel how silly I am as a kid. But I guess it is a good sign that you realize and accept you are growing.

I still try to do my best everyday. To become a better person. And hope that writing will help me to stay true to myself, and spread the positive lessons that I have learned along the way. Thank you for the opportunity, Bloganuary and thank you everyone to stoping by.
