Bloganuary 4-23: What is a treasure that’s been lost?

I think many people will agree with me about this treasure: TIME. However, I believe if we are aware of using it, we won’t call it lost but gain.

In spirit from my answer for the first prompt this year of learning how to love, I would like to take a moment to reflect how I see TIME related to this topic. The time that I spent on negative thoughts was the time that I lost twice. Not only because I wasted that time on me, but also I used that time on negative thinking so that I can’t reach positive action. Worst, if I spent that time to love someone less.

Life is beautiful with stories and memories that make us human. Ironically, I think everyone will agree and wish that life is always that beautiful. Realistically, even among loved ones, we will have arguments, different point of views sometimes. However, when I am aware of that, I will be mindful to spend qualify time such as having a good conversation with friends or even myself. Then, I would consider that a gain, not a lost. A gain in knowledge as well as emotion. A well-lived life always make people have tears. “A life with love is a life that has been lived.”

Thanks God, this year, I realize this treasure and will start practice mindfully on how will I use TIME so that I won’t feel lost but gain instead.

keep calm positive
