Bloganuary #23: Interview Dory

Family

I am so happy for you that you finally reunite with your family. Can you tell me the moment you realized that you have a family?

Dory: When I saw Nemo met his dad – Mr. Marlin- I can share the same feelings when I was with my mom and dad. It is so special. That warm and sweet feelings.

What do you think about your parents?

Dory: They love me so much that they had stayed in one place the whole time to waiting for me as they told me. They taught me well about love. Look at what people do for you rather than what they said to you. All the hard works that they did in silent for a long time with the hope that I can find my way to come back. I am so grateful to them.

Adventure

What do you think about your adventure?

Dory: Just keep swimming… just keep swimming… swimming… swimming…

Dory: Hello! Can I help you?

Ah uhm. I am interviewing you. Let me rephrase the question. Who do you miss most from your adventure?

Dory: Definitely Hanks. He helped me a tons. And he reminds me of my dad. As my dad taught me: “there is always another way.” Hanks always think of different ways and even accepted the crazy way to rescue me.

Learning

Just a curious question. Where and when you learn how to read English and talk to whale?

Dory: Well, wherever I swim to, I see so many different fishes. And I heard them talking about human coming down into the sea to study about fishes. So I think I should learn English to understand what they want. I actually learned a lot of English from many boats I encountered as well as from so many packagings that human ‘bring’ to the sea. About talking to whale. It is simple. You have to observe everything you see. Everything! If you don’t know, just ask, the worst scenario is you have no answer. But with my experience, no body ever said no to me when I asked. Look, did you see I talk with the sharks. I think they are very negotiable.

That is very impressive! And thank you for your time. I learned a lot from your story.
